Hi, I’m Alex, and I’m really excited to have the opportunity to share with you my passion for expression of movement across multiple disciplines from over 25 years of participation and knowledge within Health, Fitness and Sports Performance.
I’ve always loved the freedom of movement.
I’ve always enjoyed being active and that enjoyment has followed me from being a kid to adult and continues to do so. I raced Mountain Bikes as a sponsored rider in my teens and progressed to playing Rugby through University and into my 40s - albeit at a slightly more social level by the end. Rugby taught gave me an opportunity to learn and gain most of the knowledge I now have around Health, Fitness and Sports Performance, both as a participant and Coach.
Life after Rugby allowed me to peruse other Fitness related interests that up to that point were playing second fiddle. I got back into regular Cycling and Running, experimented more with Weight Training, Functional Movement, Plyometrics and Nutrition and explored more holistic approaches to Recovery, Behavioural Change and Mindset. These are things I still apply to myself today and form the core of how I present Personal Training and my other services to you.
I call these the 40TUDE Core Values.
